Dr. Feng Dong, MD, PhD
Associate ProfessorFeng Dong, MD, PhD, is an Associate Professor of the Department of Integrative Medical Sciences at Northeast Ohio Medical University. Dr. Dong has a broad background in Medicine, Physiology, Immunology, Molecular and Stem Cell Biology with specific training and expertise in diabetes associated cardiovascular dysfunction. Over the past years, his work has focused on stem cell-based gene delivery and stem cell therapy after ischemic injury.
Dr. Dong studied medicine at Tongji Medical University and Peking Union Medical College and did his residency at China-Japan Friendship Hospital in Beijing. He received his PhD at the University of Wyoming and was trained as a Postdoctoral Fellow at the Cleveland Clinic.
